So from your title "from darkness came light...and with that: shadow", I have a topic i want to throw out there..

It is commonly thought that people are born, raised, and become who they are because of their environment, and basically where they're from will tell where they'll be later in life.

I feel a bit uncomfortable about that kind of concepts which re to me olad and limiting one's life. I beleive that everybody have a piece of mind to offer on their destiny in the choices they make.
Often times, espcially when dealing with relationships, or couples...people say that it's hard to conciliate and work out a relationship when poeple come from different social backgrounds , ethnic groups, religion beliefs and so forth...
What do you guys think about it in the times of globalization that we live in; when people tend to be as open to the world as to affirm their originality to conter-fight the global influences.
