I believe something could be done concerning Gwada's news...I've got English speaking brothers who keep asking me about my island, what is happening there (eg: politically, socially, musically...)and I really wish I could just send them to "gwadayouth.com" so that they could have at least a sample of what is going there... It could be a weekly or even a monthly update, still...I think it would be welcome
I know it's a lot of work, but that was just an idea

Well, by opening up the the other Caribbean islands what we want to do is not promote An island over the others but rather Create a place where people from different places can come and interact. The best way to learn about Guadeloupe or Martinique or any island is to talk to people from these islands. And That's what we hope for here.
Our staff does not include a Journalism major, and that's the main reason why we have this partnership with Maximini (they handle the news). We tried to find someone who could help for the English version, but such a website does not exist yet. It's a good idea and we will openly greet anyone who think they can do this job and help Gwadayouth in its quest.
But right now, The best way to interact is to come here to learn and teach. good looking out, though!

This website is nice. One thing you may consider if you want more people to understand what you're doing is to translate the message board's buttons and all since it's really hard to go by like that.
Keep up the good work. I like the idea. I'll be back

I'm gonna say something stupid but , it got to be said , I came to the US and learn english like every body and about the rest of caribbean ...what about our brothers do the same about french and creole. Why every time I go to a so called caribbean night club or other west indians party , they're playing only their music..I think if we want to be "caribbean ONE nation " , everybody need to do the extra work. And one think we should not forget English is not the most speaking languague in carribbean in case if we forget , if we add cuba+puerto-rico"sT-domingue , spanish will be the first with our creole in second .Let think about it.

yoooooo,
Guadeloupe is not always easy to pronounce, but gwada on the contrary is !!
Man , i think the only way that we can really make our impact and connect with the caribbean is to be ourselves...only better!
Stay "OTENTIK"....It might even be a loud authenticness....but thats what i takes, at least at the begening. Once they'll know us, and know that we are different in many ways, but so close in many others....well everybody wins!
Yonn!
